VICTORIAN WELCOME HOME
A 1905 Victorian was reimagined with its unfinished basement transformed into a Junior ADU designed for flexibility, family gatherings, and future care needs. Preserving the home’s character, stained mahogany paneling, jewel tones, and a wallpapered ceiling set a rich backdrop for playful details: a “Yellow Submarine” kitchen with porthole doors, Morse code penny tile, a motorized map concealing the TV, and a hidden lounge behind velvet curtains. Universal design features, including a barrier-free wet room bath and laundry, ensure long-term adaptability, resulting in a warm, multifunctional extension of the home.
